Air after-cooler

The air aftercooler is a recommended accessory when compressors are not equipped with a built-in aftercooler fitted with water separator or when the ambient temperature during installation by Jetting exceeds 20° C (68° F).

Air-air exchanger using the ambient air as cooling medium. The compressed air drives the fan which propels the ambient air

Placed between the compressor and the Jetting machine, it limits the temperature of compressed air to max. 10°C (50°F) above the ambient temperature avoiding the inconveniences created by overheated air

Without aftercooler, the temperature of compressed air exiting the compressor is approx. 35°C (95°F) above the ambient temperature. Warm air above 55°C (130°F), is softening the cable jacket and the duct wall, thus increasing the coefficient of friction between cable and duct. This will result in a lower installation speed, shorter installed cable lengths and increased risk of duct bursting.

Advantages :

  • easy portability
  • quick set-up
  • easy use
  • maintenance can be made without special tools
  • independent of any other power source
