A world leader in the design, production and distribution of blowing, floating and pushing/pulling equipment for underground cable laying (telecommunication and energy), active in the development and marketing of other OEM product lines such as winches for runway groomers, for manlifts or oil circulators for transformers,

We are looking to strengthen our sales team:

 

Area Sales Manager

Cable Laying Products

(The use of the masculine gender also covers the feminine gender)

 

Your mission :

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will:

  • Participate in the development of sales strategies for the cable installation product line in the assigned territory.
  • Be responsible for the existing customer base (distributors and direct sales) and proactive acquisition of new customers in your assigned territory.
  • You are responsible for achieving and exceeding sales in your territory (sales are set once a year in collaboration with the SVP).
  • You are responsible for ongoing training on all our product lines.
  • You will identify the most promising markets, potential prospects and the best solutions for deployment.
  • You are the main point of contact for your distributors within the parent company.
  • You coordinate your activities with the entire sales team you assist and work with all departments of the company.
  • You will be required to travel regularly, mainly in Germany, Eastern Europe and Greece, to attend trade fairs and exhibitions, support and visit customers/distributors, give demonstrations and training on our machines and promote sales.
  • You will actively participate in the preparation of marketing materials required to promote our product lines.
  • You will be required to organise regular technical and sales meetings with some of our key distributors.
  • You will be responsible for setting the agendas for the various meetings and following up on the actions taken in these meetings.

 

 Your Profile :

  • You know how to talk to people on the ground and to decision-makers.
  • You have experience in managing a distribution network.
  • You are a people person and know how to motivate and retain your partners.
  • You are a native German speaker or have a perfect command of written and spoken German and are fluent in English, French is desirable.
  • You have a technical or commercial background,
  • You understand the basic principles of mechanics and cable laying
  • You have a good knowledge of international trade; a background in sales/marketing would be an advantage.
  • You are both a team player and a lone wolf
  • You are looking for a commercial challenge in a growing company
  • Your family situation allows you to invest and travel.
  • You are familiar with administrative tools, social platforms, etc.
